Product Disclaimer

Product Disclaimer

At KikiTextiles, we make every effort to provide accurate product photos, descriptions, colors, fabric details, and product information. However, because fabric is a physical textile product, natural variations may occur.

Please review this Product Disclaimer carefully before placing an order.

Color Disclaimer

We do our best to display fabric colors as accurately as possible on our website. However, actual colors may vary due to:

Screen settings
Phone, tablet, or monitor differences
Lighting conditions
Photography lighting
Indoor and outdoor lighting
Camera exposure
Fabric shine, texture, or reflective finish
Customer viewing conditions

Because of these factors, KikiTextiles cannot guarantee that the color shown on your screen will match the fabric exactly in person.

If color matching is important for your project, we strongly recommend ordering a sample before purchasing yardage.

Dye Lot Disclaimer

Fabric colors may vary slightly between different dye lots, rolls, shipments, or supplier batches.

If you previously ordered a fabric from us and order the same fabric again later, we cannot guarantee that the new order will match the previous order exactly.

This is especially important for bridal projects, dancewear, costumes, uniforms, production orders, large quantity orders, and other color-sensitive projects.

For best results, we recommend ordering enough yardage at one time to complete your full project.

Sample Disclaimer

Samples are provided to help customers review the general color, texture, stretch, weight, and quality of a fabric before purchasing yardage.

Samples are small swatches and are not full yards of fabric.

Please note that a sample may come from a different roll or dye lot than future yardage orders. While we do our best to keep colors consistent, we cannot guarantee that a sample will perfectly match yardage purchased at a later date.

If exact matching is required, please contact us before placing your yardage order.

Fabric Variation Disclaimer

Fabric may have slight variations between rolls, shipments, or production batches.

These variations may include:

Color shade
Fabric texture
Fabric weight
Fabric width
Stretch percentage
Softness
Shine or finish
Sequin density
Glitter finish
Embroidery placement
Beading or applique details

Small variations are normal in textile production and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

Width, Weight, and Stretch Disclaimer

Fabric width, weight, and stretch information listed on our website is provided as an approximate guide.

Actual fabric may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances, finishing processes, fabric type, and production batch.

Customers are responsible for testing fabric before cutting, sewing, washing, printing, laser cutting, or using it in production.

Specialty Fabric Disclaimer

Specialty fabrics such as sequins, glitter fabrics, metallic fabrics, faux leather, vinyl, lace, mesh, embroidered fabrics, beaded fabrics, appliques, stretch fabrics, and novelty fabrics may have natural variations.

Some specialty fabrics may shed sequins, glitter, beads, fibers, threads, or decorative elements during handling, cutting, sewing, shipping, or wear. This is common with many decorative fabrics and should be considered before purchasing.

We recommend ordering a sample first when working with specialty fabrics.

Care Instructions Disclaimer

Any care instructions provided by KikiTextiles are general recommendations only.

Customers should test a small piece of fabric before washing, drying, steaming, ironing, pressing, or cleaning the full fabric or finished garment.

KikiTextiles is not responsible for damage caused by improper washing, drying, ironing, steaming, cleaning, chemicals, detergents, heat, or customer handling.

Laser Cutting and Heat Use Disclaimer

Not all fabrics are suitable or safe for laser cutting, heat cutting, burning, ironing, pressing, or industrial processing.

Some fabrics may contain polyester, nylon, spandex, metallic coatings, sequins, glitter, adhesives, faux leather, vinyl, plastic, coatings, or other materials that may react differently to heat or laser cutting.

Customers are responsible for testing the fabric and confirming safety with their equipment, operator, and applicable safety standards before use.

KikiTextiles does not guarantee that any fabric is laser safe unless this is specifically confirmed in writing for that exact product.

Product Use Disclaimer

Customers are responsible for confirming that a fabric is suitable for their intended use before cutting, sewing, washing, altering, producing, or using it in a final project.

Unless specifically stated in writing, our fabrics are not certified for specialized uses such as children’s sleepwear, flame-resistant garments, medical use, protective equipment, upholstery compliance, automotive use, industrial use, or laser cutting safety.

KikiTextiles is not responsible for project delays, production issues, event deadlines, color matching issues, customer expectations, or fabric misuse after the fabric has been cut, washed, altered, or used.

Customer Responsibility

Before using any fabric, customers should carefully inspect, test, and confirm that the fabric is suitable for their project.

This includes testing for:

Color
Stretch
Weight
Texture
Transparency
Shrinkage
Washing results
Heat sensitivity
Drape
Shedding
Compatibility with sewing, printing, gluing, steaming, ironing, or production methods

Once fabric has been cut, washed, altered, sewn, damaged, or used, it may no longer be eligible for return or exchange under our Return & Refund Policy.

Recommendation

For any project where color, texture, stretch, weight, shine, or dye lot matching is important, we strongly recommend ordering a sample or contacting us before purchasing yardage.
