I got several samples for color comparison and this was a top choice, although I ultimately went with black. I really like brown leather also though and for a color choice this was a close second.
I've been on the hunt for a particular shade of brown pleather for a particular cosplay. The Chocolate Brown 2-way Stretch Faux Leather still isn't quite what I'm looking for, but it's the closest (also it matches part of my only pair of brown leather boots, which is a plus) so it's what I'll be purchasing. I appreciate that the online images are pretty darn accurate. I might like something a little bit thicker, but won't know until the outfit is made. The back is soft enough that I might decide not to go with a lining, although I don't know how well it'll hold up to the bit of embroidery I'll have to do.
